R U READY?
Over the last couple of years people have asked what "R-U-READY?" means, it is a simple question but quite possible the most important one you will EVER be asked. Jesus IS coming back and if you have convinced your self it will not be in your life time, death will bring the same penalty, HELL! You can be ready, either way, by rapture or by grave.
1 Thessalonians 5:2-3
"For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape."
the BIG question..
R U READY?.
GOD'S WORD, THE BIBLE SAYS WE CAN KNOW.
Here is how:
1. "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23. God's Word is clear. All mankind has sinned before the righteous God. Everyone has fallen short of God's standards.
2. "For the wages of sin is death..." Romans 6:23. Wages means "payment". The Bible says all sin leads to death.
3. "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8. God's Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, died for our sins. Jesus made the payment for YOU on the Cross.
4. "...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23. God's gift to you was His Son--Jesus. It was Jesus who died on the Cross for you and it is Jesus who gives you eternal life.
5. "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9. Salvation is possible only through Jesus, God's Son. If you believe in Jesus and receive Him as your Savior, the Bible says you can be saved.
6. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13. "Whosoever" is you. God desires fellowship with you.
God never intended for salvation to be difficult.
Do you believe in Jesus? Do you want to know Him today as your Savior? Just pray this simple prayer "from your heart" to God...
"God, I know that I am a sinner. I want Jesus to come into my heart, forgive my sins and save my soul. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
