My family and I have been going to The New Unity Church for about a year and 1/2 now. Before we started going to church there was an empty feeling in my heart, I was not the perfect person and have a past that I am not proud of and could not let it go or forgive people. I did not want to go to a church where I would be judged from my past or the tattoos that I have that can be seen. I grew up in a large Baptist church that you always had to wear a dress or dress up to go to that the men wore suits, I did not want to go to a church like that again. While my husband and I were looking for a church to go to that we looked for over a year off and on then one day a friend of ours asked us to come to church with her and her family. We have not left yet, we found a place that welcomed us as who we are and not where we came from. I have been saved again in this church and baptized. I have grown so much as a Christian at The New Unity that I have forgiven people from my past, gave my burdens over to God and my family has grown. It is a little white church on a hill but everyone there have big hearts and the pastor is an amazing pastor, he is always there if you need help with your walk or if you just need to talk. I can not see going any where else
