The New Unity Church

Well about 6years ago, I was going thru a bad time. I found my comfort by drinking and bars but after the alcohol wore off the emptiness was still there.  Well my Mom & my brother Derek, started going to this little church on the hill, and they kept talking to me about coming and visiting. I didn't want to hear that but God started speaking to my heart. So one morning after being out all nite, I decided to go. I thought if nothing else it would shut them up!! Well it didn't happen like that. When the service was over, the preacher had the alter call. I was sitting on the very back pew, mamma & Derek didn't even know I was there. I held the back of the pew in front of me so hard, and that preacher kept calling there was a chill that went all over me. I let go and walked down the isle my eyes filled with tears. Then it happen, God spoke to my heart and all I had to do was let him in. That's the dat I gave my heart to my SAVIOUR, JESUS CHRIST. Since that time the emptiness is gone and I married a wonderful man. I have peace in my heart. I would like to Thank my mother & brother for believing in me. But most of all I would like to Thank the GOOD LORD for saving a old sinner like me.
